Hello! My name is Rev. Thomas Wesley Moore, IV, but I go by Pastor T. Wes.  I am married to Rev. Lauren Voyles. We met at Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, VA. Together, we have three beagles/beagle mixes: Murphy (12), Melodie (5), and Morty (4). 

 

I have been in the Ministry of the Word and Sacrament since March 2019, but I was also previously trained as a pastoral musician from the Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. In total, I bring 13 years of experience working in congregations. 

 

My favorite Gospel is Mark and if given the opportunity to preach from it, I most likely will do so. Although, I do love John chapter 1. My heart is also in the Old Testament because there is so much grace in it. 

 

In conversation, I may casually drop in things like Star Trek, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Dungeons and Dragons, board games, Disney World, lifting weights at the gym, running, nutrition, and Blood Hymns (I am a recovering Southern Baptist). 

 

I am looking forward to working with you as well as Pastor Philip and the staff at TEP for the next six months.​
